If you fail removing the SQL Server 2005 using appwiz.cpl on MSCS

configure this key : HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\<instid>\Setup\SqlCluster=0

And then you can remove the SQL Server like locally installed. Even if clusterd.
For remove all you must reacting that every nodes.
